Listening to the Ice

You can listen to the ocean under the Antarctic ice via this research station feed. It’s called: PALAOA the PerenniAL Acoustic Observatory in the Antarctic Ocean. Read more here.

It is usually just clicks and pops but I listened long enough to hear some ice collisions or what I thought were ice collisions and what sounds like storms occasionally. It also acts as a “white” noise generator. For other noise generators see my previous post on white noise machines.
