I’m sure every blog out there is covering this but Google Talk, Googles new Instant Messager service, is alive and in beta. It works pretty well so far. Very clean and simple and no stupid banner ads or graphics. Clean and easy and tightly integrated with the gmail service.
To get it you need a Gmail account. If you want a Gmail invite (are they still requiring this?) then let me know and I’ll send you an invite. Once you have that just go here and download it.
